Drop in the bucket, but a drop is better than nothing I guess.

I applaud the government for taking this baby step. But the simple fact of the matter is that NOTHING is being done to stop them from coming. They are still able to get medicaid...welfare...assisted housing..and able to get work. And they are still able to come here 9 months pregnant....have their baby here, and it is automatically a US citizen and they as parents cannot be deported.

Until the government takes steps to take away their reasons for coming here and gets rid of this anchor baby loophole, then they are just putting a bandaid on a problem that has gotten out of control and is costing us HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of dollars a year.

Don’t forget that the rules have changed recently. The numbers will come down - especially if we are only going to deport illegal’s that break our other laws. Isn’t it great that breaking into our country doesn’t count as breaking our laws!

Yes, Obama now has some amnesty going and is handing out some new kind of work permit so his beloved illegals can stay.

Deporting axe murderers and so on actually benefits them, they can simply obtain new stolen identities and return as fast as they please. No prison time like there should be for very violent criminals.

Um, the rules have changed so that more (and worse) illegals will deported more quickly. Every year under the current administration, we've deported a record number of people - and with these new rules that trend will increase.

Very true, and factual statement. No prison time exactly as there should be, for the violent criminals.

True how many have been caught with stolen identities.

Especially since those caught at the border are included in the "deportation" numbers. But, Obama promised, they will not aggressively pursue those currently living here who are "otherwise" law-abiding.

Yes, and "otherwise" law-abiding is really stretching it since it means they are allowed to commit felony document fraud, tax evasion, and a whole lot more.

This idiot president is wasting his time.

What good are deportations when Obama is continuosly Hispandering with talk of Amnesty, the Dream Act, meetings with the National council of La Raza and all his other BS.

Suing Arizona and Alabama for trying to enforce the laws that Obama epically fails at.

Obama and Holders Fast and Furious scandal.

Obama is F'n clown that is trying to play both sides. If this fool was serious he would go after the employers, let the states do their job and shut up.

His deliberate attempt to block enforcement of EXISTING laws and offering further incentives ( the Dream Act, etc..) to ILLEGALLY come here is proof positive of the failures of his administration on this issue.
