First and foremost, these "illegals" were brought to the US without a choice. Their parents made the choice for them. The only home they know is the US. There are pre-conditions for them to qualify for the program. I think it is the right thing to do as it gives them an opportunity to acquire citizenship while getting an education. As important is that they have an identity. They have a future. Or would you rather they follow their parents and pick fruit and vegetables on farms???

Because States do not have the authority to step on federal authority under the US constitution. Besides, what exactly are these missing federal laws? Those that require you to carry an ID at all times? That you can be stopped for no reason for "status check"?
The laws are not missing. The enforcement is. The courts have ruled that Alabama can enforce them. The federal laws are more stringent than the state laws, they simply aren't enforced.

i would prefer that, for once, this country stops rewarding bad and /or illegal behaviors-you know, follow the RULE OF LAW (something this country used to do a long time ago)

i would prefer that the "pity party" stops now.

otherwise we will all be picking fruit and vegetables to eat as our standard of living continues its rapid decline.

you would have to be blind to not see the current decline in our standard of living.

as far as education costs, expecting to be able to add another group who can't pay their way isn't going to help the disaster that education has become:
http://money.cnn.com/2011/11/03/pf/s...debt/index.htm

america is drowning in debt, our students are drowing in debt, jobs are literally gone, wages and hours are dropping, and some people actually want policies that escalate this trend. amazing!

Should foreign countries meddle in our laws & interest?
if those nation have a problem with u.s.a.laws. They should not allow their people to come here illegaly. Simple problem to fix. Let them build a fance to keep their people in. Most of those nations will have no problem with shooting people in the back as they try to clime the face to come to america!!!

Illegals come here knowingly to break the law & they endanger their children which they don't care about.

Which specific laws are you talking about (that aren't being enforced)?

You're worried about word games again. Do you think the federal government has effectively controlled the flow of illegal immigrants into this country? Call it what you want, but that's the point.

No, word games is something you're spending time with. I'm sticking with some law you claim not being enforced. Why not discuss those details you clearly know about?
