The police should have rounded up all of the protesters. Then check the legal status of each protester, to make sure they are in the US legally. Alabama could have made a huge statement to anyone thinking about protesting Illegal Immigration. But I am happy to hear at least 13 were arrested.

"Power of the people"? That is a term reserved for American citizens not illegal aliens marching in our streets. As for citizens, the majority of us do not support illegal aliens in our country so just what power are they talking about?

I would have far more respect for illegals if they protested conditions in their own countries instead of in ours. Maybe if they spent all that energy improving places like Mexico they would have a country worth having.

Yeah, what a novel concept, right? It takes courage however to do that and I don't see that trait among those who come here illegally.

Unfortunately, it isn't just illegals protesting in our streets but citizens who support them also. If ICE tried to round them up during their protests you'd have their ethnic citizens screaming "racial profiling" and then the lawsuits would start.

Exactly -- and they are actually destroying their own countries by abandoning them. They don't care about justice for their people in the least. They abandon their villages, their neighborhoods, their elderly and even their own children in their big lust to chase the easy money.

A quarter of the houses in Juarez now sit empty and all that is doing is creating further deterioration. Funny how these people will pretend to love their "patria" yet leave it so readily.
