It is interesting to see someone forward an idea of "national security", while minimizing unmanned Port of Entries that have existed for years...
I am not minimizing anything. I want both of our borders secured. If you don't think a good enough job is being done on our northern border then why don't you find out why and get back with us. Obviously we are doing a pretty crappy job on our southern border since that is the one where most illegals are coming through.

Yes. Because the Canadian border is a hotspot for smuggling of drugs, weapons and human trafficking. Every other day they find tunnels underneath the Canadian/US border, and Canada routinely encourages its poor to come to the United States, in order to increase remittances and have babies on the taxpayer dime.

I think the implications was that we are racist and discriminatory towards Mexicans which is a joke since Mexicans are here in the highest numbers both legally and illegally.

That's ALWAYS the "implication," especially by those who choose to ignore reality because they are (for whatever reason) agenda driven, and to rely on "racism/ethnicism/xenophobia" advances that agenda better than anything else in the world really.

And I would argue that those with an ethnocentric agenda in this issue don't have the nation's best interests at heart but a self-serving tribal mentality to re-create another Hispanic nation here via illegal immigration and anchor babies. Hmm, and that isn't racism?
It comes down to a question of education. When you educate the Mexicans who intend to cross the border that they aren't supposed to be doing that (Now see here: we're not going to enforce our border, so you're on an honor system, OK?) then there won't be any problems. Until then, nobody should be surprised at what's going to happen.

Oh come on now. Most of these illegals are adults and they know before they cross our border that they have to be authorized to do so or they are breaking the law.

So, it's the US's duty to educate people here from Guatemala? Wow, just wow.
