Notice that the guy who apparently hung the Mexican flag above the U.S. flag wouldn't respond to the interviewer's questions about this incident?

I remember this.

Try pulling this sh*t in a different country (flying YOUR flag above their country's flag) and see what happens.

Yup. Selective "language barrier".

Oh no that was prolly just "prank"... just like the mexican flag that was flying on a cell phone tower south of Phoenix last spring. I started a thread about that...was told it was a prank and the thread was closed. You can hide your head in the sand about these issues but as long as the population thinks they are not effected they could care less and don't want to get involved. Glad someone stepped up and, of course, it was a veteran.

Oh. Silly me. I didn't realize that the whole thing was just an honest misunderstanding.

No it wasn't a prank, it's a matter of a four year old video about a business owner from Mexico who wasn't familiar with the US' Flag Code. I'm not submitting his ignorance on a little-known part of federal law as an excuse because most Americans aren't even familiar with it, much less Mexicans; it just shows that he didn't know any better at the time. Flag Code is rarely enforced by law enforcement because they have much bigger fish to fry, but a number of diehard veterans obviously will enforce the code and for good reason. I as a veteran would've taken the first step of speaking with the business owner and given him the opportunity to correct his error, but that's just my peace-loving and courteous nature.
