A complaint was all it took and 17 Illegals fired. One was working for 23 years.

Pomona College Protest: Terminated Undocumented Workers Chant 'We're Here And We're Not Leaving' (PHOTOS)

A USELESS protest didn't work. More job openings for Americans and LEGAL immigrants.

Repeat often and put more Americans back to work !

Wow, that whole situation is a mess. I can't believe they are providing legal assistance "at the college's expense." Are you serious? Never ceases to amaze. People say that this is being kind and compassionate, but when do you draw the line? The college charges students for tuition, they are going to use their funds to give legal aid to illegal immigrants?

One terminated employee said that he was "confused and very sad." What do illegal immigrants think is going to happen eventually? What do they think will happen once they get caught? Do they even think about that? Or do they think they are going to be blessed with the chance to just continue on working illegally in the U.S.?

Yet that compassion never extends to Americans who are out of work and could have been doing those jobs all those years and feeding their families. Yes, providing legal expenses now to them at the college's expense is mind boggling. Why wasn't the college outraged instead over the people they trusted to hire legal people? Or outraged that these illegals presented authentic looking fake documents to work?

Illegal aliens have been promised amnesty for so long and very few are being deported compared to the numbers here that many don't live in fear of being caught.

Unfortunately many really do feel they deserve to be richly rewarded for breaking the laws, they even feel that the longer they break laws, the more rewards they will be given.

17 unemployed Americans now don't face desperation and despair, there are now some good jobs available.
