...even if fraud is feared

But high-ranking USCIS officials said the pressure has heightened after the Obama administration appointed Alejandro Mayorkas as director in August 2009 during an effort to pass comprehensive immigration reform, bringing with him a mantra of “get to yes.”

Gee, what a surprise!

At least this time, it is their own insiders exposing the 0-blamea group and their oh so obvious agenda.

Obama needs every one of their votes! Nuttin less than desperate to keep them all in-country. Guess with ACORN's help and the push to keep states from simply calling for identification to allow folks to vote, they figure they can win this next election.

I just read this and it is amazing that it doesn't reach the national news. We all know the corruption and double dealing is there, it doesn't surprise. But, the ordinary person doesn't give a rats patootie about it until it directly affects their pocketbook....

The problem is the system is not operating properly. An appeal on a commercial visa should resolve in a month.

People are queing for years to get green cards.

The system is broken and Mayorkas is trying to fix it.

And you people appear to want the bureaucrats to win and destroy our commerce and tourist industries.

Of course there is an understanding that very few of these immigrants will be able to vote (in the time it takes to naturalize) in the next election cycle? How long does the process have to take to be considered legitimate? By the time my wife was interviewed for an immigrant visa, she was able to qualify for a ten-year Resident Card (and could have had a Military Dependent's ID Card, allowing her access to most U.S. bases in the United States and around the world, but not able to cross the border).

Just how is he trying to fix it?

By ignoring the laws on the book and doing exactly as he and his master 0-blamea wish to try and set up the next bunch to throw under the bus?

BTW, just how exactly do you think that the illegals support our "commerce and tourist industries" when they, by their own claims, come here broke?
