Much of the problems in Mexico have to do with the lack of respect for laws. Mexico's Constitution in fact is not bad if you read it. Mexico has laws but it's people prefer to ignore the laws and that leads to a lot of drug running and carjackings and associated violence.

No illegal has any respect for USA laws. An illegal might not murder or rape but as far as respecting the laws or understanding a need for laws, illegals believe the laws do not apply to them or don't believe there should be laws. That includes illegal entry, paying smugglers to smuggle themselves or even children over, laws on driving with a license and liability insurance, work laws, laws on identification theft and forgery. Often they ignore zoning laws and have several families packed into a one family residence, or they rent floor space illegally to other illegals.

They intentionally break any law that inconveniences them -- and then turn around and condemn their own country for it's lawlessness.
