Alcohol and Identification. (drivers license, birth, illegal immigrants, law)

How do illegal immigrants purchase alcohol? Dont they have to be able to verify your age somehow? And seeing as they (an illegal immigrant/non citizen) arent even documented or registered and there is no way to establish the illegal immigrants true age, how are they being served/able to buy alcohol?

Probably with fake id's just like all the under age Americans.I got mine when I was 17.

Passport. Home country ID card. It just has to have a birthday on it. Or they look 21+ and don't get carded and it isn't an issue.

I was bar hopping at 18 as many of my friends would. In S. California most High School kids know which stores will sell to them also.

Yes alot of places get hit with police stings but buying alcohol is not exactly difficult for anyone.

There is no requirement that a person has to have a driver license from US to be served alcohol you can use a foreign passport or a foreign ID issued by a foreign govt to be served alcohol otherwise no foreign tourists will be served alcohol

Well, if they look old enough they probably won't be carded.

New Mexico drivers licenses are a cinch for illegals to get. But also their Mexican ID's will serve as proof of age -- and those are also easy to fraudulently obtain.

My buddy is a Cop. He says that in areas with a high concentration the local shop owners will sell to them no problem. The old Culture before law thingy.
