This is the illegal immigration forum. There is no compassion.

There are no gray areas allowed.
I agree.

Illegals have no compassion for Americans. They don't care if their decision to violate American laws has huge consequences for American. They don't care if American school kids have fewer resources, America's poor face increased competition for jobs and lowered wages or America's middle class faces increased taxes because of their selfish decision to violate our laws. They view Americans with great contempt and our laws with even greater disdain.

Most Americans don't violate multiple American laws on a daily basis. They don't drive without licensure or insurance, forge documents, work under the table or skip out on medical bills. Illegals do most on these actions frequently or they can't survive here.

Why respect someone when their first act upon arrival is to violate our laws? Why should we go even further and grant them the right to skip our immigration lines?

Would you sneak into France, demand interpreters at public expense because you didn't learn French, drive on French roads without permission, demand $300 a month in food at French taxpayer expense because you gave birth on French soil and work there without authorization? If you did that . . . would you have the nerve to accuse the French of being racists lacking in compassion if they asked you to stop?

Are you suggesting we should allow all who choose to enter this country illegally the same rights and privileges as citizens and legal foreign nationals? Should we embrace their lies, theft, fraud, and acts of violence? Should we deny our own citizens jobs, businesses, housing, a quality education, hospitals, and social services for the sake of foreigners who don't have enough respect for our country to enter through legal channels, or comply with the terms of their visas? Do you actually not realize we are a sovereign nation with immigration laws?

If you went outside and discovered your car missing, would you want the perpetrator arrested and prosecuted? Or, would you simply shrug your shoulders and say, "Oh well, that's just one of the laws someone chose to violate."

Don't we punish citizens who choose to live outside the law? If you actually believe we should ignore illegal immigration, it is YOU who believes certain laws (illegal immigration) and/or people (illegal aliens) should be held to a different standard.

Agreed on all points. The only thing I would add is that it is even more despicable that some Americans lack compassion for their own fellow Americans over this issue but have all the compassion in the world for these illegal aliens and much of it based on ethnic ties rather than the national interests as a whole.
