Sorry to burst your bubble, but you were NOT responsible for his victory in 2008, and you will NOT be responsible if he's re-elected. Do you actually believe he could have won without black and non-Hispanic white voters? Do you think he can win a re-election with only the Hispanic vote? If so, you are living in a dream world.

Almost 67 million voted for Obama, while 58 million voted for McCain. So, Obama beat McCain by 9 million votes. An estimated 10 million Hispanics voted, and 67% voted for Obama. You do the math. Had Obama not received ONE Hispanic vote, he would still have defeated McCain. Stop propagating the lie that Hispanics won the White House for Obama. Stop deluding yourself into believing the Hispanic vote is THE most important. Clearly, it is not.

Furthermore, other than a few Hispanic appointments, what has Obama done for the Hispanic community that so fervently supports illegal aliens, and demanded so-called Comprehensive Immigration Reform? He promised the passage of CIR during his first 90 days in office. He promised the passage of the DREAM Act. And, he had a Democratic majority in both the House and Senate. Did he deliver?

Powerful? Don't make me laugh. Here we are almost 4 years later -- no CIR, no DREAM Act. Only broken promises, and now he's promising again. Oh, and let's not forget about his "record" deportations.

The approximately 10 million Latinos who went to the polls this year were 9 percent of the total of voters, up one percentage point from 2004.
In other words, 91% of voters were NOT Hispanic.

Let's look at this whole immigration debate a different way.

Say you're illegal, and you get "caught."

You get to answer ONE QUESTION:

1. Do you want to be:
A: an American, or
B: a Mexican/Guatemalan/Honduran/Etc.

If the answer is A:

Allow them to stay legally and become US citizens if and only if they are willing to FULLY RENOUNCE THEIR NATIVE CITIZENSHIP at the embassy of their native country, AND REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE ANY SORT OF DUAL CITIZENSHIP, and either serve 2 years in the military or pay a fine of $10,000 which can be paid in annual installments for 5 years.

If the answer is B:

Put their ass on the next plane out.

Problem solved.

Sorry, not good enough. We shouldn't reward illegal aliens with our citizenship no matter what they promise to do or say. We don't need them here. We don't have the jobs and resources to support them and we certainly don't want them serving in our military. Those are also jobs that Americans need and shouldn't have to compete with illegals for.

It's not a judgment, but merely my opinion of them after years of reading the DREAMAct Portal. They are a group of whiney, arrogant, not too bright, self aggrandizing, delusional cowards. The vast majority of them have morphed into their lying, thieving, self absorbed criminal parents.

The company I work for is in the process of finalizing a federal contract. There are talks around the water-cooler and the hallways that e-verify might be coming our way. If they run e-verify on the existing employees, my days at that place are definitely numbered.

Can the employer run e-verify on an employee without first notifying the employee? Are they obligated to have something signed by the employee? I also read somewhere that only NEW employees are supposed to go through e-verify while the existing employees are considered exempt.

Please share relevant information if you have them. Thank you in advance.

You're assuming that all 10 million Hispanics who CAN vote will even vote for Obama, if they vote at all. Against those 10 mil; you have well OVER 100 million NON Hispanic voters.

One hopes your sociology is better than your math.

If McCain picked up 6.7 million and Obama lost 6.7 million the election would have gone to McCain.

And the Hispanic vote will likely guarantee an Obama win in 2012...which may be closer than the last one.

Lots of people won't be voting fr Obama this time around which may cancel the Hispanic vote.
