The revised rule would allow illegal immigrants to claim that time apart from a spouse, child or parent who is a U.S. citizen would create "extreme hardship," and would permit them to remain in the country as they apply for legal status. Once approved, applicants would be required to leave the U.S. briefly, simply to return to their native country and pick up their visa.

Instead of calling them politicians, we need to think of a new title for them.

(1) Azz kissers is a great start
(2) Pimps and panderers . . . . ..

I wish I had known this was in the works before I filed everything with the INS. This sucks. My husband should be receiving a date soon for him to be at his interview in Mexico. Then he'll be stuck there for months or god forbid, longer...
People with a ban can already apply for waivers, it just takes a long time and separates everybody during the interminable beaurocratic process. I don't see the problem with shortening the wait time.
"Extreme hardship" refers to the U.S. citizen who is affected, btw, not to the illegal immigrant. The waiver is meant to benefit citizens who would be harmed by the removal of the immigrant.

Thanks for stating the truth. Now we see the real Obama and part of his master agenda, don't we. Obama is very good at kiSSing azz, just to get that damn vote, and to hell with the way Americans feel on this subject. Those that will not bow down and kiss his AZZ?
Some of us can see what an azz he really is. sorry but when you have to kiss azz to get yourself a vote, he is kissing his own as well.

Yes, and what's so obvious is that none of these spouses would remain together if it meant living in the other country. It's love of food stamps, Medicaid, WIC coupons over love of their illegal.

And nothing stopped these people from applying for a marriage visa and doing things the right way. The easiest and quickest way to be sponsored is through a marriage visa. No work skills needed, no literacy, no education, no ability to obtain a job -- so why did they choose to simply ignore the laws in the first place?

Note that there is no such category as a "marriage visa"...

But it isn't the first time you (notice the correct form) have renamed something at will...
