Either way it's bad. Obama is deporting only the most violent rapists and murderers, and has decreed the rest can stay, so if deportations are up, it only means there are more rapists and murderers among the illegals.
By deporting them, Obama spares them from having to spend time in prison here, and as we all know, Obama has cut back on border enforcement which makes the border nothing but a revolving door.

We are not discussing the output, the article sates deportation cases which is what has been shown by me and the OP. You are arguing some make believe argument and trying to look intelligent by doing so. If you would simply argue the topic and what is being discussed you might actually look semi-intelligent.

Comprehend what Malamute stated, look at your comment and realize you are inept and inane.

Until recently, it was military policy to have citizens lie to the military: DADT. But yeah, I know, totally different

I am sure you meant to say our civilian government. DADT was a Bill Clinton policy.. The Military serves a civilian master. And yes that is totally different. There is no law against being gay. There are laws against being in the country illegally. There are laws against fraud. And there are laws against lying on your enlistment papers.
DADT didn't require anyone to lie. It simply said we wont ask and you wont tell.
Enlistment papers absolutely ask legal status.
Place of birth, date of birth, SSN, where you went to school etc.
An illegal has to lie on about 90% of those questions.
Oh and is it illegal to use a SSN that you know is false?
NO not the same at all.

How was it a civilian policy when it directly dealt with soldiers? It basically told gays that they had to lie or be kicked out. It was a policy where dishonesty was preferred.

Yes, it did. Your logic on this is stunning.

It's very interesting how the act of lying on this forum is seen as probably the worst act anyone can ever do, especially in the context where someone is lying to join something where there's a much higher likelihood of death. As usual, only black and white absolutes matter to posters here, and the overblown, elevated status of lies.

What?
Form what I've been told: lying about your past when trying to join the Service is a real quick way to get bounced or worse.

DADT was US policy that prohibited military personnel from discriminating against or harassing closeted homosexual or bisexual service members or applicants, while barring openly gay, lesbian, or bisexual persons from military service. This was in action from 1993 - 2011. The restrictions were mandated by United States federal law Pub.L. 103-160 (10 U.S.C. § 654).
You don't seem to understand what DADT actually was. There was no lying being done by anybody, but there certainly was prior to DADT, closeted kinda explains it, no? There would be discrimination due to the barring of openly gay persons, thus, this is why DADT is now being repealed.

They're trying to make people think deportations are down because there are fewer illegal aliens crossing the border, when in fact it's simply because Obama isn't deporting them.
