If you were to comprehend what MotleyCrew stated ( asked if they had any means to pay, insurance or a checkbook they said no. They were seen regardless. This is a problem across the board.) you would have recognized that it was an issue of money and payment, not an issue of ethnicity.

On an another added note how is it "hate" to not want to add illegal aliens to the mix of nonpayers for healthcare services by being here illegally in the first place? Sure we treat all nonpayers in the ER including citizens but the point is that if illegal aliens weren't in this country that would be one group of nonpayers we wouldn't have to deal with and that in turn would reduce the number of nonpayers. The nonpayer costs are passed on to the rest of Americans who do have insurance in the form of higher premiums.

Thank you, LR. Another thing is that with all of these illegal aliens in our country using our hospitals it is creating long waiting lines in them and spreading our doctors and nurses thin. It is all about them being here illegally in the first place and creating this burden that the objection is to.

I did not think MotleyCrew's post was hateful at all. The color of the person's skin, the language he or she speaks, or the country he or she comes from is not the issue here and I suspect you already know that. What's the big deal your say? For one, California taxpayers contribute a minimum of more than $1 billion annually to cover the health care costs of illegal residents.
Count Ciano, since you obviously thnik that it's NO big deal then why don't you pay for their health care? Go to your nearest hospital, give them your checking acct or credit card number's and all is well.
