Yes, plenty of our own citizens commit violent crimes. However, if we secured our borders like we should, this man who was already deported once for being a gang member never would have made it back into the country, and this officer would still be alive. This man's life in itself seems worth it to me, and I'm postive to his family. The point of the post was that this man died needlessly at the hands of someone who had no right being here, and with illegal immigration, there is no screening process to keep these kinds of people out, hence the reason why every illegal should go through the process legally. We have enough of our own problem with gang members, we don't need Mexico's. And for that matter, I'm all for deporting the gangbangers that are citizens.
