HOW DO YOU PERSONALLY DISCOURAGE PEOPLE WHO DON'T EMBRACE AMERICA?
For example:
I'm fluent in spanish, but won't facilitate those in the US who live here and refuse to learn english. I will only tell them they need to learn english and walk away.
I'd like to hear ideas how others send the message to immigrants who refuse to be a contributing part of this country.
My husband during his work has told them to learn english get off our services or get the hell out.Me I speak to them in German when they speak to me in Spanish usually pisses them off pretty good.America needs to Stop accomidating them, no one did my grandparents.
I suggest that they control their xenophobia and accept the idea that their country is a nation of immigrants that draws strength from a diversity of cultures and opinions.
Location: In an illegal immigrant free part of the country.

You are correct! Look at how robust the prison system is now! They have been expanding and building new prisons to provide housing for all these diverse cultures.
My husband likes to speak to Spanish speakers in Russian. It gets them everytime.
I think thats very funny. I have to try that.
I simply walk away and dont talk to them and DONT DO BUISNESS WITH THEM OR COMPANIES THAT use them. take away the $$$ and they might leave. Also TELL the company that you wont do buisness because of this reason.
"E Pluribus Unum," not vice versa, is our national motto sponger42, and hopefully remains the lasting take on our myriad origins becoming one people, Americans. Our global heritage also mandates that we must all be able to communicate in our lingua franca, the English language, with one another.
That said, if someone is working here temporarily on legitimate visas, I trust they'll be as polite to me as I want to be to them, meaning we both want to make an effort. I've also found that people "in the system" are polite and accommodating, and illegal foreign nationals are invariably rude and mean-spirited. This is a personal observation from living in Los Angeles, wherein 300 illegals arrive daily, and so many of them abound in my immediate environs.

Haha I do the same thing, speaking German loud is very obnoxious.
when i am confronted with someone who barely speaks english in a transactional setting, i ask to be served by another employee who is fluent in english. if the non-english speaker is in a position that requires repeated contact with the english-speaking public (such as a restaurant server, store clerk, or anyone answering the phone at a place of business), i let management know that i will not continue my patronage if they do not have employees with whom i can communicate.
i avoid home depot, u-haul, and any other business that allows illegals to congregate on their premises pestering customers to employ them, and leering at female passers-by.
i do not vote for or donate money to politicians who do not openly disavow amnesty, driver's licenses for illegals, sanctuary city status, and other pro-illegal immigration policies. when they solicit donations from me, i use that handy-dandy SSAE to send a note telling them why i will not be supporting their campaigns. not only do they hear from me, they pay for the postage.
