I've heard both 92.5 and 91X ads sponsored by Filner attacking Demaio. His pushing points are that Demaio didn't renounce AZs immigration laws. Why should he, he's an American. That and he doesn't live in Arizona!!
Using Mexican listeners to bolster his own campaign is about as low as you can get. This tactic to get to the Hispanic vote is outrageous.

These same tactics are being used on the federal level also. Why do politicians think that they will attract the Hispanic vote by denying LE officials the right to enforce our immigration laws under lawful contact? Oh, wait......

The other day the radio talk show hosts on one of these Mexican radio stations was absolutely boasting of the Mexican birth rate and the fact that they are now becoming the majority group in so many places and telling the listeners to have more babies.

The Mexican vote is a very solid liberal voting blok. These are a people who tend to be one-party type voter.
They will claim they are pro-family values and are great Catholics but they consistently vote for pro-abortion candidates like Clinton and Obama. They have a 68% rate of childbirth outside of marriage. They are heavily dependent on welfare programs like Medicaid, food stamps, and WIC.
And they see the democrat party to be most like their own PRI party.

I have very good friends whom are hispanic. They are pissed about this crap, they are educated, and feel that their race, is being used, and most cannot even see it. I kid you not.
What they hate more then anything, is seeing young hispanic women having child after child, it irks them so bad.
But they admit it will not change because of the mindset of so many hispanics, even within thier own families. They even argue with their family, but said their family is of a different mindset then these two.
These two feel, that the problem that exists today, is young girls, teens, young women, having child after child, after child, and having the State taking care of them. To them, they ought not have a child, if they cannot afford to take care of it, be a responsible parent, having a father figure around, and teach the child, the thing that a parent should be doing. And i do agree with the both of them.

I wonder if the situation were reversed and millions of Chinese migrated to Mexico illegally took up residence, tooks job, benefits and started bragging about outbreeding Mexicans and therefore Mexico would start resembling China and Mandarin became Mexico's national language if Mexicans would complain? Would they be viewed as racist for not embracing that invasion? One thing I hate is hypocricy and double standards. Maybe the shoe should be worn on the other foot so to speak.

I think Mexico's government is pretty smug in not giving up political power to the Chinese. Chinese immigrants tend to have small families. Central American immigrants might put a dent in Mexico's demographics.
It's not like the illegals just started coming here. We've had an illegal problem for quite some time.
Their kids are now adults and of voting age. Who best to influence them but their parents.
No kid wants to see his/her parents deported and if they are of voting age they will surely be swayed.
