Default Widow of illegal who died in desert to sue BP

This is going back to this thread that was closed:Father dies attempting illegal return

Illegal alien dies in desert, widow (also illegal) to sue Border Patrol - National Immigration Reform | Examiner.com
Quote:
Juana Garcia, the widow of Idelfonso Martinez Sanchez, who died crossing the Arizona desert in April after being deported, claims the U.S. Border Patrol is responsible for her husband’s death and now wants “justice to be done.”
I wonder why she isn't going after the coyote and the group that left her husband by himself instead of helping him continue?
Quote:
However, after only one day in the desert Sanchez became ill and the coyote along with the rest of the party left him behind.
These are the people she needs to be suing for the death of her husband based on negligence.

Well look at that, the wife admits to also being in the US illegally. Wasn't that an issue brought up in the first thread that was questioned?
Quote:
Garcia, who admitted to EFE that she is also in the country illegally, has five children between the ages of five and 19.
She continued: “We'll see what happens with the lawsuit. What they did is not right. I don't work and they left me and my kids without our source of income. What we want is for justice to be done.”
While it may be surprising to some to learn that someone here illegally can file a lawsuit in U.S. courtroom, it has actually become quite commonplace.
This woman and her children need to be shown the door.

I think the entire article is worth a read (f not it's own thread). Not just her outrageous claim of wanting "justice", which is more in the form of monetary justice because that seems to be her issue, but about the other lawsuits that have been raised, especially the "professional plaintiff" and how illegals shakedown business owners.

This is quite hysterical, “We'll see what happens with the lawsuit. What they did is not right. I don't work and they left me and my kids without our source of income. What we want is for justice to be done.” The "they" must be referring to the BP. ... The irony in the since of entitlement (I don't work and they left me and my kids without our source of income.). Wanting justice to be done would mean deporting her too (along with her children).

Why is Border Patrol at fault here? There are warning signs...in Spanish...telling of the dangers of a border crossing. If the guy was illiterate...any one knows crossing a desert is not safe.

Send Mama back to Mexico. With her kids.

Those rights do not include the right to violate our immigration laws or collect welfare from the American public because you are too lazy to do anything but breed up kids you cannot support. The only people who were responsible for her husband's death was her husband and her own government. Her government needs to stop telling their own citizens to ignore our laws and make stupid treks through the desert with only their fellow criminals to help them.

The border patrol exists to defend our borders and keep out intruders. It does not exist to provide a means of assistance for people dumb enough to attempt to trespass on to American lands, let alone when they do so without adequate advanced preparation.

The lawsuit should be thrown out. She and her brood should be sent home. If any of them are Americans they can come here at eighteen. But she should go to Mexico and stay there.

In the US illegal immigrants have "limited" rights. The Supreme Court can verify that, Obama can't really verify anything in that regards.

"If" is the biggest word in life. I would argue that her children may have been born in the US, but unless they hold a US Passport stating they are US Citizens, at best they "may" be US Nationals. A birth certificate is nothing more than the beginning of a form of ID for the child to say he/she is but the son/daughter of so-and-so. No where on the birth certificate is there a nationality or a status of either the child or of the parent(s). So yes the mother can and should be deported, the children can go as well since they are the responsibility of the parent, or she can give them up for adoption, the point being she can make that determination. Which goes to my statement of she and her children need to be shown the door. Why should be be financially liable for her children if she decides to leave them here?
