Naked politics, pure and simple, from this arrogant egotist. Buy election points among Hispanic voters with this move. Bypass Congress and the Supreme Court. Speaking of the Court, a decision is coming soon on Arizona's SB1070. If the Court upholds the Arizona law, how will this latest Obama move be impacted? Would think that it would be overuled and the act be declared unlawful and void.

Obama's smart. Promise your crazy base something they want even when you know there's no way the rest of the country will allow something that harmful to stand. Leave yet another big mess for the next guy to clean up in a few months.

This is just more pandering from a fool who would be a cheap dictator if he could. I don't think the American
public will stand still for this. 5 more months & we can be done with this clown and his whole 3 ring circus.

Their parents came here not knowing our country, didn't they? It is rewarding THEM by giving their kids amnesty. These kids do have ties to their homelands. They are taught the culture and the language of them by their parents. Kids are very adaptable to new invironments and in their case they already have a head start knowing the culture and language of THEIR own country. I see nothing terrible about deporting the whole family back to their homeland where they belong.

Let's just give those kids a chance to have their own anchor babies. Then we can't deport US citizens....right? Medicaid should be re-named...."insurance for illegals".

30 is not all that young. By that age many illegals are already grandparents.

There are many more illegals here than 800,000 between the ages of 16 and 30. And you can bet your life that many many more are packing up to cash in on this new amnesty.

Too bad for unemployed Americans, Obama simply found that American jobs are very good way to buy his votes in November.

Although I am furious about Obama pulling this executive order (he lost my vote), you make an excellent point because these children were brought here by their law-breaking parents. That being said, I see this as flawed as Reagan's 1986 Amnesty (one time only, right?). It's pandering for votes.

We have the Dream Act. We have millions of Americans out of work, millions who cannot afford higher educations, California for example is on the verge of bankruptcy with the worst education system in the country. This undermines Arizona's stance on illegal immigration. Why don't we just abolish the border now because it will happen eventually, IMHO. Come on over and turn us into a true third world nation.

There are already demonstrations going on in SF tonight because it's not FAIR to the other illegal children who don't fall into this age category! Two hunger strikes already.

I'm embarrassed to be an American, and just a little bit scared of this influx. I give up.

Sorry for the rant.

Just think, 800K+ new "workers" looking for jobs. And if they find a job and get layed off they qualify for unemployment.

Hey, I don't want to make a big thing about this, but technically shouldn't this topic be moved to the "Legal Immigration" board?
