The Congress needs to pass AMNESTY now and if they won't, Obama should go around them and use his executive powers to implement hope and change.
How does he figure to win in these states? I'm actually for the law and I'm a frequent critic of the anti-immigration retards who post on the internet, but I think that whatever he gains from this move will be offset by the perception that he's more concerned with the rights of gays and illegals than he is about the average Joe Six Pack sitting at home wondering what happened to the country he grew up in. Obama's refusal to play politics was a great campaign slogan, but christ this president is naive at times. He's not going to win an election by being the black version of Jimmy Carter.

That's a ridiculous statement. Chances are, they were already employed and doing work that other Americans weren't already doing and probably weren't even interested in doing.

Great news ! Now what he needs to do is pass a law to help the rest of the illegals, not just some.

Yes because we should reward criminal behavior not punish it.

You've got one thing right - historic for sure. No other president has acted so dictator-like, in an obvious attempt to sway voters. Desperation knows no bounds with this man, apparently.
George W. Bush signed more executive orders in 2001 than Clinton and his own father -- combined. That's 12 years of office, dwarfed by one.

Will that benefit you personally if he does?

Bigots? How is it bigoted to want our immigration laws enforced?
