I think other Presidents have and more will in the future.. but to the issue at hand. I am more concerned about the ROOT of the problem than I am these young law abiding folks. Give them amnesty, i don't care but STOP the influx of new illegals.. seems obvious to me.. STOP THE BLEEDING first..

We did this under Regan and Regan later regretted doing it.

But I am more concern with him bypassing congress which makes our laws.

Are you asking can a President sign Exec Orders directing agencies, under the control of the Executive Branch, to do or not do certain things? Errr, yes a President can, and this President has several more on deck. Why do you ask?

The only ones to stop him or question his authority to do things is Congress.
And that wimpy bunch would rather grill JPM CEO or worry about steroids in pro sports than to make sure our laws are upheld.

Congress has already wimped out (Libya). The more quiet Congress becomes, the more the President will do on his own.

So you are OK with his going around our deportation/illegal laws to let these undocumented people stay in our country ?

You are OK with this..really ?

Well just don't go spewing any outrage should a Republican get into the Oval Office and start doing the same.
You might be OK with it when YOUR guy is doing it but the next guy just might not be in your party and he'll be doing it as well.

Contrary to popular belief, and Nixon's belief that it the POTUS does it it is not illegal, there are rules to be followed. If the president breaks the law, he can be impeached. There is no groundswell in Congress to impeach, so he is on solid ground.

If the Congress had a problem with illegals, they have had years to fix it. All of them, both parties.

Sure he can, his EPA, Energy Department, HHS, Interior Department, FDA etc... are all pursuing their own agendas and enacting their own regulations according to Obama's political philosophy and ideology, without needing any input from Congress. He has the fourth branch of government that believes it trumps every other branch. Remember the Supreme court case, where the EPA thought it was immune from giving citizens any form of legal recourse for their decisions?

Obama is content with playing the part of the pseudo-dictator-in-chief.
