I prefer president. Little P, but I do capitalize the O in his name. And it has a nice ring too, as in zerO.

Perhaps you could try to live under a "comrade leader" for a while. I am certain that you will re-evaluate your usage of that term afterwards.
We ARE living under said 'comrade leader'. We're living the 'Dreams' of his father.

From a historical point of view, it is interesting to note that every single American president has been accused of making himself into a "King" since George Washington.

Every single one.

Two presidents faced the impeachment process: Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton, but both were acquitted. One president, Richard Nixon, resigned in office at the moment the impeachment process was being initiated.

King Obama the 1st is just following the lead of his dictatorial brothers from the Middle East and East Africa.

People say its a smart move to try for votes but it seems like its a stupid move that will cost him votes. I don't think for a minute Obama came up with this on his own, thinking just isn't the guys strong suit. So is he deliberately helping to ruin his re election chances? Is his usefulness at an end and is he being pushed aside for the next guy?

Maybe I am dense.....but isn't this similar to a president unilaterally stating....
"All child molesters are no longer going to be arrested".

It is the same thing to me....we have 800,000 illegal aliens...LAW BREAKERS!!!!

And the president now is picking and choosing which criminals to apply laws to...

He has effectively now completely cut law enforcement, and border patrol at the knees. Let's just fire those folks....we don't want them to work any more....

Sick of this president who panders to illegals....shucks....gonna let them vote too?

Yep..
..

It is a brilliant move not to uphold the laws of this country? Is this a joke?

The people who are pissed off are the ones who give a damn about our laws and where this country is headed.

Obama knows what's best for the country (and his campaign) so why should he let Congress stand in his way ?
He's bypassed Congress before and they did nothing.

If Congress let's him do it then this is what we have. It's starting to seem like we don't even need a Congress anymore.

Doubt it. Most Americans are against illegal immigration. Add in the current high unemployment rate and sluggish economy, this most likely will backfire.

I have thought about this and wonder if it is a very smart political move. The republicans really started the hispanic influx. The republicans seem to want to reverse everything Obama does, so maybe he is trying to get the border closed by going in the opposite direction. Hope it works if that is the plan. I just don't like having a bully in office. The American people are being bullied. The only way to stop a bully is to call him on it.
