Except Hispanics are not the majority in this country and their voting turnout is low. No politican should promise to not honor our laws to pander to a special interest group. That isn't what this country is about.
Well that's the way it's been run for 3.5 years. And some wonder why we're so divided among ourselves.
The race card is one thing --- "hispanic" isn't a race, nor is "illegal" a race but it's almost hilarious when they're pulling the "poor liittle children" card when those ages 20-30 are being included in on this. That's some pretty long-in-the-tooth children.
These 20-30 year olds were kids when brought here by their parents

They can still go home. Trust me; the cops WILL look for something to nail those Dream Act "kids" for something, especially if 1070 here in Arizona passes the SCOTUS.
why wouldn't they lie about when they came to the U.S. or about how long they have been here?
Given the ineptitude of the federal government, I doubt there will be a thorough verification process. Fraud will be rampant, and there will be no oversight, just like other visa programs. Remember, these are the same agencies that admit they don't have the resources to even monitor current visa holders. Now, they will have at a minimum 800,000 more. It will be a free-for-all, and a travesty of monumental proportion. I anticipate a lot of finger pointing, because no one will want to accept responsibility for this debacle.

True. I can see an incentive for young adults to cross the border in short order. It could turn into a free for all.

Maybe some of them have kept the reciept you get when you vote from back in the 2006 midterms?
