As in CA it's a game. Once you manage to slither undetected an undisclosed distance from the border it's "hands off baby".

Close those Border Patrol stations, but make sure you keep checking out citizens moving around in their own country TSA, is that how it is?

Sounds like Obama's version of Homeland Security -- let all illegals in, give them free health care, food stamps, promise them Dream Acts, work visas, and amnesty. Homeland Security is a major major joke. And keep Americans getting unemployment handouts.

Can someone explain this to me?

“These deactivations are consistent with the strategic goal of securing America’s borders, and our objective of increasing and sustaining the certainty of arrest of those trying to enter our country illegally,” CBP spokesman Bill Brooks said in a statement.

Usually you get the alternative plan going first before you deactivate the older system.

These things don't happen by accident. This is what they want, unfortunately.

I suspect that Obama has been seriously compromised by Fast and Furious and is now taking his orders from Los Pinos. Mexico wants the borders open and an open border is part of their social plan. That is, they have more people they want to be rid of and they don't want anything getting in the way of that.

The whole reason for these checkpoints was that they wanted to encourage Mexicans to shop and visit border towns in the USA, they give them border crossing cards that are supposed to be for very limited stays and only to border towns.

Now they are still handing out the border crossing cards to let them simply drive or walk on over but there will be no way to limit where they go once over.

If they would control the actual border itself, it would be fine but that's not in the plans.
