That sounds far more like the pro-illegal groups. They refuse to distinguish between legal and illegal immigrant, ignore data, lobby legislators for benefits based on race, pretend that most Americans somehow benefit when millions of Mexican high school dropouts move here and screech racism when anyone dares argue with them.

Not surprising, really.

Most welfare programs are geared towards children. If an illegal immigrant has children in the US (which, let's face it, use of birth control is something apparently unknown in a lot of our illegals from poor countries), those kids are entitled to benefits.... and since most illegals are poor and uneducated, we're essentially importing poverty.

It's the reason why I am staunchly against illegal immigration. I lay equal parts blame on unscrupulous employers and the illegals who bilk the system.

Eventually, we'll have to understand as a nation that if we continue to take in the underclass poor of other nations we WILL have a never ending blight and supply of impoverished families.... AND that we'll have to continue to pay for it. At this point it's two steps forward, one step back.... or is it one step forward, two back?

I beg to differ. Immigration both legal and illegal is a political issue. The fact that "other controversies" is also a part of this forum's subject heading makes this a topic that could also be discussed in here.

Thank you OldGlory ......"other contoversies" plus the fact that the title says "Obama Wants To Up That Number" shows that this post is completely on topic for this forum.

This is just another tactic used by the Moonbats when they don't like the substance of the post and have no rebuttal to it.

So what are the percentages or numbers of illegal aliens receiving "welfare", as determined by CIS?...

The food stamps that illegals are getting are food stamps issued to their American born children. About three days after the baby is born they show up at the SS office and apply for a SS number for the child then head over to the food stamp station and apply for food stamps, which they feed off of.

Actually, that article quotes and uses CIS data!!!???

For example, it says:

Quote:
CIS report: Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion in costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid only $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of almost $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household.
And I would say that it doesn't dismiss the percentages in the table above, but ONLY dismisses some email's dollar amounts
