It's an online project. Are you going to burn down virtual reality now?

C'mon people. Read the article before posting plans for arson.

LOL. Watch them get their degrees, get their citizenship, become taxpayers and see how they use their degrees and activism for "immigration". They will be at the front of the line chanting "not in my backyard!" trying to stop the next wave of illegals coming in.

But they're already tax payers. How many illegals are there protesting against themselves?

No one knows if or what they pay in taxes. But, we do know they are costing taxpayers a bundle.

Oh, you haven't heard? Many Dreamies are already stating they would support "closing the borders" once they're legalized. But, illegals do tend to be a rather selfish lot.

No, we know for a fact they pay certain taxes. They pay sales tax (state&local), property tax andpay payroll taxes if employed. The only major tax that it's unclear how many pay is federal-state income taxes. If my memory serves though somewhere of 40-50% citizens don't pay federal taxes. How many illegals would pay federal taxes if legal then?

It's curious that we have precise accurate numbers of how much illegals take in social welfare, but suddenly don't have a idea how much they pay in taxes or their population size. Obviously we need to fire these census workers for being so selective in what information they gather.

Doesn't matter what they pay. They send much more in remittances back to their home countries.

How is it "curious" when women are receiving maternity care when they arrive in ERs still wet from swimming across the Rio Grande; later to receive WIC, welfare, food stamps and myriad other goodies on behalf of the U.S.-born children? Or, when millions of children are enrolled in our schools whose parents aren't required to produce proof of legal status, yet their children receive a tax-funded K-12 education, including ESL classes and meals? Or, when hospitals and clinics are forced to close due to being overwhelmed by "immigrants" who have no driver's license, SSN, or ANY valid form of ID, but nonetheless receive tax-funded medical treatment? I could continue, but I think you catch my drift.

Anchor Babies - Taxpayers Paying for Illegal Alien Births - YouTube

Quote:
It was 5 a.m. and CBS News national correspondent Byron Pitts is with a woman who is nine months pregnant. She's rushed to a south Texas hospital to undergo a C-section - a $4,700 medical procedure that won't cost her a dime. She qualifies for emergency Medicaid.

Back in December, when she was six months pregnant, Fabiola, her husband and their two daughters - ages 4 and 11 - crossed the Rio Grande from Mexico into the U.S.

Once on the other side of the river they walked for two hours in search of a better life and free medical care for their unborn child.

"Mothers about to give birth that walk up to the hospital still wet from swimming across the river in actual labor … dirty, wet, cold," he said.

Since April, UMC has been spending about $2 million per month providing emergency dialysis services to 80 illegal immigrants, Brannman said.

He projects that these services at UMC could run more than $24 million in the current fiscal year.

In Texas, where the state comptroller estimates illegal immigrants cost hospitals $1.3 billion in 2006, the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston is considering denying cancer care to such immigrants.

One thing is clear: Undocumented immigrants are driving up the number of people without health insurance. The Pew Hispanic Center estimates that 59% of the nation's illegal immigrants are uninsured, compared with 25% of legal immigrants and 14% of U.S. citizens. Illegal immigrants represent about 15% of the nation's 47 million uninsured people — and about 30% of the increase since 1980.

Any guess as to who will fund this so-called on-line illegal alien university?
