A year ago I posted the following under the title "When Illegal Immigration Hits Close to Home"

Quote:
Undocumented Immigrant Oscar E. Ramirez-Lopez Arrested In Deadly Long Island Driving While Intoxicated Accident CBS New York

One of the victims, a father, a man heading to work and doing the right thing as a father, husband and productive member of our society was killed in a car wreck caused by a drunken illegal driving on the highway.

Why must our government continue turning a blind eye to those who choose not to obey our laws from the moment they enter this country?

How many citizens will find themselves in the same shoes as Danny's family?
I wanted to give you all a follow up.

After being dragged slowly through the courts, on Monday July 30th, the illegal alien who decided to drive drunk, unlicensed and in the wrong direction on a parkway -- murdering my friend and his coworker on their way to work -- was finally sentenced.

Illegal Immigrant Sentenced in Deadly DWI Crash - West Islip, NY Patch

Quote:
...has been sentenced to five to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to driving drunk and killing two men, including West Islip's Larry Scuteri, in an April 2011 crash on the Wantagh State Parkway.

Oscar Ramirez, 30, pleaded guilty in June to aggravated vehicular homicide, two counts of manslaughter in the second degree and driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced by Judge William Donnino.

Ramirez, who is in the country illegally and has no driver's license, admitted that he drank nine beers that night and had a blood-alcohol content of .10 percent more than two hours after the crash, according to Rice. Ramirez will be deported to Guatemala upon his release from prison, Rice said.
As of right now it appears that Ramirez might serve a total of 8 years and then be deported.

In 5, 8 or 15 years, Danny's chlidren will still be fatherless, while Ramirez (post deportation) will probably sneak back into the US under a different alias.

Danny's youngest child in the courthouse sentencing day.

You can thank Reagan and every other traitor after him including Obummer. We can also blame the traitors in congress, and the traitors in state government.
