The BCC is extremely cheap -- $149 and is good for 10 years, also called a laser visa or shopping pass. They can obtain them and come over to give birth, work here, even commute -- live on the Mexican side and cross over to come to work.

If they come over and head on to some other destination like Chicago, no big deal, nothing will be done to return them home. If they ignore the terms of the BCC and decide to travel 1000 miles inside the USA - again no big deal, nothing will be done. The most they do at the inland border stations is ask if you are a US citizen, you can nod your head yes and you're sent on your way.

About a fourth of Ciudad Juarez alone has relocated to the USA. A very large number packed up their things and with their laser visas or Border Crossing Cards just drove right on over. No paying of smugglers, no hiking through a desert. And they're living happily ever after in the USA.

What's your solution? Don't allow Mexicans to enter the U.S. at all for any reason?

For the bold, didn't Regan also launch amnesty for illegal immigrants?

Yes, he did but he didn't do it by back door policies. It was expected that about 1 1/2 million would be amnestied but nearly 3 million came forward for it. It was promised that the border would be secured and that there would be no more amnesties. Reagan later regretted what he did. Well here we go again except this time around over 1 million of them have been granted a stay of deporation along with work permits during a bad economy. If Obama has his way all 12 million of them (or whatever the real number is) will be granted amnesty also. When does this all end?

For the bold, it never ends. Too bad most Americans are too stupid to realize that NEITHER the Republican not Democratic parties care a rat's ass about the common American who works his butt off, pays his taxes, and does his best to support his family without taking handouts.

It amazes me how much right-wing nutters rail against President Obama so much but fail to listen to you when you explain the fact that two wars (one totally unnecessary) does nothing but harm the economy. When we question why Wall Street is allowed to do what it does without being held accountable, we're labeled as "libturds" or "Dumbocrats" by stupid, inbred "conservatives" who know nothing (or refuse to) acknowledge the facts.

Yes he did. At the time there were an estimated 300,000 illegals living in the USA and many had been here for years. It didn't sound too bad for many people at the time because they would given amnesty to these 300,000 or so illegals and then start enforcing the border.

The fraud was extremely massive, instead of 300,000 getting amnesty, people began pouring over the border by the tens of thousands to cash in on it, the only proof needed was a notarized letter from anyone claiming they had hired you and you were in. Over 3,000,000 people got in on an amnesty that was supposed to be for 300,000 -- and Reagan did live to regret this decision.

Those nasty labels are also flung around by the Democrats about conservatives. Come on now, let's be fair here.

It is Obama and the Democrats that are rallying around the Dream Act and it was Obama that stopped many of them from being deported along with work permits so I think there is enough guilt to go around as to what is hurting our economy and job potentials for Americans.
