It might take violent uprising there. If not maybe a Castro, Pinochet, or Chavez is the answer. At this point something is needed.
you're right. it MIGHT.. but as a powerful nation with a lot of political influence, the united states has an excellent chance of achieving the same end through non-violent means. that would undoubtedly be the optimal solution, so we should give it a chance.

The thing is US is in the back-pocket of Mexico for many reasons, main one being OIL.
it would cost us more money to do that then to let them stay. is your issue with the resources they consume or with the people themselves?
Boat trips to China would be cheaper then what we spend on them now....
