The age group between 16 and 30 has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. The legal residents and citizens in that age group should be infuriated that Obama is giving the right to work to illegals.

Doesn't matter.

Many of these "children" speak no English at all. And if their families are from Mexico, they grow up knowing the culture, language and customs very very well.
That's pure speculation.

There was the Olympic Silver medal winner who is a perfect example -- he came here at age 4 but he obviously feels very much part of Mexico, so much that he had to make a big scene showing his great passion for his real country.
Yeah, I saw you jerkoffs in that thread with your "national pride." Nobody cares except your little cult.

When I was in college, I went and studied in Mexico. Not traumatic at all. It was fun.
Yeah, what we're talking about isn't a study-abroad program, or even a mission trip--it's being entirely deported to a country they know little to nothing about. Like I said, it's equivalent to transplanting a Citizen of this country to, France, and expecting them to just make it.

Sure it does.

It shows what a lie it was to claim they'd feel out-of-place in their own country -- but they can't speak a word of English and don't feel out-of-place here? Oh yeah, the big easy money here.

Obama's dream act is America's nightmare.

The only thing good that happened today is that we got to see how big the problem is. Too bad the federal government will not let the schools tell how many students are going to our schools and are not citizens. A Charlotte commissioner wanted to know how much of our money is going to educate the undocumented and was told by a member of the school board that it is against Federal law to ask if a child is a citizen. Taxpayers deserve to have full disclosure as to who is getting our tax dollars.

I have no doubt that if people realized how much trouble these people are doing to our budget, they would be screaming for this to stop. Our taxpayers are being taken advantage of by people who are getting rich off these people. But the fault is with the Federal government. You should not have to check a persons citizenship before hiring them. They shouldn't be here unless they are citizens.

No, it doesn't matter they don't have to speak English to be granted temporary amnesty. A lot of those kids do speak English. They're born and raised here. They are, for all intents and purposes, as Americana as you or I. You just don't like them because of this misguided delusional fear of their existence.

If they were 'born' here, they are citizens and don't need dream acts or amnesty.

with the current trend of outsourcing and encouragement of legal and illegal immigration, it will soon be the case that there are no jobs at all in the US.

hardly a good thing for the local people. IMO.

Another lie. They aren't born here. If they were born here, they'd get instant citizenship and welfare handouts.

They aren't American anymore than I become a Mexican citizen just by sneaking into Mexico or even by living there for a few months.

Exactly. There was a time when "hispanics" were more inclined to support Cesar Chavez and the UFW which worked to end the Bracero Program and demanded enforcement of the border because they were intelligent enough to see the connection between unlimited immigration from cheap labor countries and jobs and wages here.

Now "hispanics" tend to want unlimited immigration at least from all hispanic nations, they don't give a damn about better wages or jobs for Americans.
