Of course suggesting that everyone should follow the laws that apply to enter the country legally is "controversial".

Not surprisingly................NBC Los Angeles described Afsar’s belief that the rule of law should apply to everyone as "controversial".
When immigrants came through Ellis Island is was through the laws that existed at the time, they were not considered illegals. They were given nothing, nada, zip. They had to make do on their own - succeed or fail. There were no government handouts.
Sure wish my ancestors who came to this Country with nothing, wanting to be citizens of the Land, had all this help. They had to do things on their own, sink, or sail? No help, no one cared about their plight.
What a slap in the face, to all of our ancestors who came to this Country, and did it right, no matter how hard and long it took.
Gutierrez is a joke. There is no similarity between the Dreamie "Nightmare Centers" and Ellis Island. It is indeed an insult. But, from some of the comments I heard today, Obama may regret this little stunt. The massive crowds didn't delight many. In fact, it helped to underscore the huge problem we have with illegal immigration. One lady told me she had no idea there were so many people in this country illegally. I asked her where on earth she had been. Yes, they need to keep broadcasting this invasion.
Louis Gutierrez.....well that pretty much says it all. I can't help but wonder just how much more BS he is going to shovel our way in regards to this issue.
