Millions of illegal aliens queued up across the country on Wednesday, August 15, to get papers to stay in the country.

The illegals, almost all of them from either Mexico or other Hispanic nations, got into line to apply for President Obama’s “youth amnesty.” That policy, announced in June, essentially established the DREAM Act as federal law by executive decree, even though the act failed in the Senate in December 2010.

Although Obama set out a list of DREAM-like criteria for “young” illegals, the day before the amnesty began the administration began loosening the rules so that they applied to just about any young and illegal immigrant.

Lines a Mile Long

Across the country, the New York Times reported, lines of illegals as long as a mile snaked out of churches and the offices of lawyers and immigration activists who were helping the illegals.

At the Navy Pier in Chicago, the Times observed, “by midmorning Wednesday, the line wound down the long pier, through a park and along an expressway, with young people holding sheafs of documents that they hoped would prove that they qualified for the program.” The paper continued,

By noon, event organizers said, 11,500 people had attended briefings, and more than 2,000 people had been turned away because there was not enough time or staff to deal with them.

Amnesty Lines Exceed a Mile; High-school Dropouts May Apply

It's no surprise that every illegal alien in the country is lining up for this amnesty and there's not enough people to process and verify their eligibility. If Obama loses the election, it will be interesting to see if this mess is rescinded.

And unemployment rates in 44 states went up -- even before the Obama administration started passing out these work visas for the illegals.

It's turning out to be a whole lot more illegals than the estimated 800,000. And there will be no proof needed, it's all on the honor system for their claim of meeting the criteria.

No one can believe any more that Obama gives a damn about unemployed Americans.

More people working means more jobs for others. I'd rather have them identified and working then unidentified and working under the table. And this is not the Dream Act, all they get is a two-year deferral of deportation. It is risky for them to sign up. Once they do, the US government has a record of them and knows where to find them.

In keeping with your logic then more Americans working means more jobs for others, right? Let's give unemployed Americans those jobs that illegal immigrants have no right to and see how that works, ok? I'd rather they be deported as stated in our laws and give those jobs to our citizens.

Oh absolutely! The border crossing will pick up and there will be millions more of them lining up for this amnesty before Obama is run out of office on a rail. Unfortunately, it's 1986 all over again.

If the government knows where to find "them", then the government knows where to find their illegal parent(s) who should be deported. Or does the work visa extend to automatic deferred deportation for the parent(s) as well or would it be a case of the government not wanting to separate that 24 year old child from his momma?

All of those in office on both sides of the aisle have neither the desire nor intention of deporting any of the (probably) 20 million plus illegals aliens of any age. The democrats, in particular, have come to the conclusion that the hispanic population and their future offspring will be the future majority and their voting block is key to democrats politically controlling the future of this country.

What these idiots haven't figured out is that a vast majority of hispanics are ethnocentrics that will vote only for one of their own. They don't love or care about America, they simply want what we have. Once they are in power, the US will simply become another segment of 3rd world latin America.

Exactly! Napolitano even admitted they "may not" require "certified" transcripts. We all know their so-called required documents will be rubber-stamped.

Check out the video on the following link. Watch her dodge questions. Disgusting!
