Ghost thinks the law that makes illegal immigrants illegal is unjust and hence can be broken and is alright to do so. they decide they are above the law and should be punished accordingly.

Yes we know this but she stated this for Ghosts benefit. He thinks the law against Illegal entry is unjust but thinks it is okay if that law is broken.

Thanks guys for clearing it up.. I skimmed through all of the postings..

Isnt it great that unjust laws are open to interpretations. Some think laws not allowing adults to have sex with children are unjust.. I guess its ok for those who think its ok, to just do it...

We have whole communities of people who have 5 wives.. laws stating thats illegal are unjust to some.. Great to see that they can do what they want.

Thank you, Laws are not created for us to pick and chose which ones we obey. We do not have to agree with them, we may not like them but we have to obey them. If we break a law we pay the price.

Funny, your pro-illegal stance makes me think the same thing about you.

are veterans immune to the laws set forth in the constitution now?

he wasnt keeping out illegals. he cut down a flag on private property. his actions might have had deeper meaning to some, but legally speaking (and you all advocate following the law!), he committed a crime. he should be punished.

he couldve shown it in a legal way. he chose not to. thats why he is now considered a thief, by law.

no. i think supporting his actions are tantamount to supporting free speech violations, a just law, in my opinion. do you disagree?

So now you are saying if you break the law you need to be punished right????
that is the judicial process, isn't it?

Are you anti-American because you stand behind a bunch of illegal immigrants?
no. im compassionate. i love the constitution and the ideals it sets in the bill of rights especially.

Don't contradict yourself. A law is a law. Illegal is Illegal. Your arguement is "I am just saying I understand why they break the law."(like that makes it okay)Well we understand why this Vet did. He loves this country and will not stand by and see it disrespected

ok but this is the problem. i understand why the illegals cross, and i understand why the vet thought he was doing the right thing. i can question any law that i choose to. i am not breaking any myself.

on the flip side, people who are pro-law and advocate a strict following of it are not considering this guy a criminal. that is where the true contradiction lies. if you claim that we should not question the law, then we should not question the law in the vet's case either. a violation of the first amendment and a violation of personal property rights was committed. that is why he is considered a thief. those that advocate the law being followed should agree with that. if they dont, then there is an obvious contradiction and double-standard, which nullifies any seance of reason or rationale attempted to be used in their argument. which is it people? should we question laws we believe unjust, or follow them all without question?
