While I understand the resentment and anger many Americans feel toward seeing so many illegals, mostly from Mexico, South and Centeral America illegally enter this country; I believe this anger and frustration is mis-directed toward the wrong group pf people. The fact of the matter is, Illegals would not be in this Country in such large numbers, if not for the lack of action on the part of the US Government (starting with the President) to control this illegal immigration nightmare. So let's all just face the truth. The US Government (again, starting with the President) opened this Pandora's Box and betrayed the American people, now the situation is out of control. Therefore, stop faulting the Illegals and start faulting and criticizing the true source of the problem...Your Government (starting with the President).

I'm in agreement. So lets get control of the situation by sealing up the border and have a time-out on immgration for a couple of years.

This country needs immigrants to run it. I work in Software, my company would be worthless without high-tech immigrants.

The border is a waste of time and money, it is too big anyway IMO. Take that money, setup talks with the Mexican government, get them to spread the funds and top oppressing their people.

You keep bringing up this diplomatic panacea for resolving this entire issue - how about explaining what you mean by that. You're throwing around ideas, but how do you propose they manifest themselves??

ideally, we promote fairer trade between the two countries, and explain the importance of wealth distribution to the mexican government. we can also show them how immigration is affecting us, and that, if necessary, action will be taken against them in order to insure the average working man has a livable wage within the country of mexico. sometimes the threat alone accomplishes a lot. hopefully they will listen to the initial reasoning, and we would be supportive of their economy and purchase exports to further them along.

Well that explains everything. We need to school Mexico on the importance of wealth distribution. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Thanks for the laugh at the end of the day - that was worth it!

What makes you think we are not concentrating on the employers and the government too? Ever heard of multi-tasking. You don't think we stopped the amnesty bills because we just posted on city-data do you?

Of course business cannot hire people that are not here now could they. The key word is illegal immigrants and part of our focus should be on those crossing our borders illegally.
