GARLAND (CBS 11 NEWS) - New information and reaction to a youth soccer coach under arrest. Bernardo Mondragon-Guzman, 41, is behind bars accused of sexually assaulting one of his young players.

Court documents say the ten year-old victim described the coach’s bedroom and car where the sexual assaults took place.

Mondragon-Guzman is in jail, being held by immigration authorities. Police are worried about other victims. They’re asking parents to talk to their children.
Coach Accused Of Sex Abuse Is Illegal Immigrant « CBS Dallas / Fort Worth

Yet, we must have a hands-off approach to illegal aliens until they actually commit a violent crime. This is sickening.

What is sickening is the 2-piece bikini suit on 4 month old!!!

Sexual assault occurs everyday whether by legal or illegal immigrant or citizen...

Yes, it does. However, every crime committed by an illegal alien is preventable, and would not occur if our government would enforce our laws and secure our borders. This innocent child certainly could not have been his victim. Or, are you suggesting the fact that we have homegrown perverts somehow diminishes this heinous act? It's sad that whenever a crime is committed by an illegal alien there is always an excuse. He shouldn't be here, period.

I first thought it was a school coach. The school system, at least today, does e-verify and uses the Fed database and insists on proof of citizenship.

Not all youth groups do vigilant investigations into the people they hire. Be forewarned.

Garland is a suburb very close to Dallas, so this is all over the news here.

I'm disappointed but not surprised. DFW is like an island of tranquil sanctuary for illegals...especially Garland, which has been virtually ruined by them, as has its neighbor Mesquite.

You having said that, can't help but wonder if the woman who claimed that they did background checks isn't an illegal herself.

For every crime committed by every illegal it would be one less crime committed in this country.

While the Obama administration shuts down Border Patrol stations and loosens U.S. immigration policy, a new report by the House Judiciary Committee reveals that upwards of 36,000 illegal aliens were cut loose by federal law enforcement between 2006 and 2011. A number of these illegal immigrants went on to commit 19 murders and 142 sex crimes.

“The crimes charged against these illegal immigrants include nearly 2,000 DUI (11.9%), over 1,400 drug violations (8.8%), and more than 1,000 major criminal offenses and violent crimes (6.9%), including murder, assault, battery, rape, kidnapping, child molestation, domestic abuse, lynching, stalking, and torture,” the report says.
I bet the majority were released when Obama took office. They were probably held for crimes committed (you know, those "minor" crimes) and then released to go on and commit more crimes.

Cheap shot? Do you consider the sexual molestation of an innocent child (perhaps multiple children) by a criminal who is in this country illegally, somehow not worthy of reporting? This is hardly an isolated incident. Sadly, there are far too many reports of illegal aliens molesting children and even infants, and something must be done. If the safety of our children does not warrant the enforcement of our laws, then I have no idea what should.

Don't we have enough of these POS citizen pedophiles? Do we actually need to tolerate people entering our country illegally to commit these despicable acts? How many of our children do you think we should sacrifice before it becomes important enough to "drive out" illegal aliens from this country? I doubt you would consider it a "cheap shot" had it been your child this pervert molested. I loathe ALL child molesters. In my opinion, they are all lower than pond scum. The fact that he is here due to our lax immigration enforcement, our pandering government, and our porous borders only adds insult to injury. Illegal alien sympathizers never cease to amaze me.

Illegal Aliens Released by Federal Government Committed 19 Murders, 142 Sex Crimes | TheBlaze.com
The "Blaze" article does correctly identify illegal aliens responsible for 19 murders [, 3 attempted murders,] and 142 sex crimes, but the original document (with the "memorandum" authors' names strangely redacted) gives a better idea of true percentages (that only about 25% of the 174,777 individuals covered in the report were actually illegal aliens). The majority are Legal Permanent Residents (6.2% of the total were even U.S. citizens). Your explanation that President Obama also somehow "released" them from custody is inaccurate: All are cases where individuals were flagged through the "Secure Communities" program, but were not detained or placed in removal proceedings (an LPR can violate the conditions of their residency if convicted of a DUI, and thus would be listed in the Secure Communities database).

I found a disconnect in the report with a statement that blamed "the Obama administration's lax immigration policies released [illegal aliens] back into our communities" if an illegal alien was rearrested within three years from an earlier offense. It was an assumption that the individual was not removed by the Obama administration from the prior violation. Illegal aliens that were deported under Obama, but returned and were rearrested would be counted as being released "back into our communities".

That is making the same incorrect assumption that you are...

My assumption is Rep. Lamar Smith, reknown for this sort of puffery, is trying to make political drama before the elections...
