My guess is that there are that many more people over here.
That would be my guess also. It is pure propaganda that they are leaving for the reasons I cited or that deportations are up. I imagine that Obama's DACA and hands off approach to any illegal immigrants who don't have a felony offense is encouraging more to to come here.

Most of them have already left, are leaving in droves, or for those of us that are left, are planning to leave. California is the poster child for the absolute, utter failure and disfunction of Liberalism. It has become, for all practical purposes, the Peoples Socialist Republic of Mexifornia. Far left Democrats hold all state wide gereral elective offices, voted into power by those with entitlement mindsets and feelings of victimolgy. The politicos are terrified of the large Hispanic voting bloc and pander to them. There are a large number of Latinos in the state assembly and state senate that have formed a powerful Hispanic Caucus with a major political influence. In recent years have often sarcastically thought that it has not been AaaaNold or Moonbeam in charge of the state, but Gilbert Cedillo.

Makes one wonder what the agenda is of Cedillo and others like him, doesn't it?
