I disagree...WE Americans don't mind paying more for the things we get, if the jobs went to Americans rather than the illegals...which wasn't a decision that WE Americans got to make. The greedy developers, etc...have been making it for us by hiring illegals..and quite frankly, I don't remember prices on anything dropping because of the job illegals are doing..the extra money being saved to hire illegals are lining the pockets of the people who hire illegals.
Nobody benefits from illegals but the pond scum that hire them. And then in the end, even they won't be benefiting.

Brick laying wasn't a low class job back in the day, only till the illegals came in. Used to be that construction was a good paying job, done by hot looking guys, who were Americans, but I digress

I dont normally venture over here, but in a lunch conversation with one of the physicians in my office last week, he thought that these people that you speak of would do a much better job in the healthcare industry, in NURSING HOMES, than the people who are in them now.

In the area I live in, they do their work, take pride in it, and get it done. I agree with him. I think these women would take care of these people in the nursing homes with pride and care. I had to sit there a few minutes and think about it after he said it, but he was right. They would be perfect in this position.

The people in it right now, they just dont care, they dont care about the patients, dont treat them as if they are people even, they are just there for the money, and then they move along.

If they hear a patient screaming for them down the hall, do they go to them? No. Do I think a female Illegal Alien would, i really do. JMO

Well I would sure like to know the name of the nursing home that would even consider such a thought. Personally, I think this is a bogus claim. Fire the people you have that are incompetent (it happens) and hire a better American citizen for the job...maybe your hiring process is just weak?

I'd pay more if I could be GUARANTEED that the people doing the work were not illegal.

How many illegals are in the DEA?

Maybe people should clamor for more jobs that actually promote and provide for the general Welfare of the United States; instead of non-constitutional jobs that do not better our standard of living.

You would have to pay more, in taxes, to enable that level of public sector service, under current methodology. Why would you want to increase our tax burden?

Most American employers get to make that decision everyday. It is called at-will employment, and a Ninth Amendment power and right. We do not live in a Communist country where the government can tell people who they can, and can't hire.

Neither the states nor the private sector have any US constitutional authority over immigration and naturalization issues.

I believe the rest of my post included a part you left out in your quote, about the pond scum that hires them, just as bad...they are the ones benefiting...not me, average Joe American Citizen.

Private employers have a private profit motive. It is their profit motive to do with as they wish. You benefit from your own private profit motive by being paid by your employer for contributing to their private profit motive.

Perhaps, you could become an employer and hire who you want. Then, maybe you will understand why our Founding Father's wrote a constitution about limited government.
