Well; apparently it is not stopping places like my state (Arizona) in enacting employer sanctions against the illegals.

Nothing like illegals complaining about less fortunate illegals, even if the second illegals are willing to work as hard or harder than the first illegals.

You are right.......State police can NOT patrol the border between countries....they can NOT deport people to another country.

They CAN enforce violations of State Laws regarding the employment of persons that do not have a legal right to be in this country.

Let me put it this way: while we as a people are slow to anger; suffice to say once we explode-------I pity anybody to tries to stop us. And you can include Americans who are Hispanic------many of them are uber pissed off.

If it means the occupation and placement of Mexico (the source of most of the illegal immigrants) under martial law to protect the USA.......so be it.

I just read an article that stated that the chasm between
the wealthiest and the rest of us is at an all time high,
with some 20% of wealth in going to just 1%.
If anybody still believes that our government is not in the back pocket
of the elite..... is either stupid or a suck up.
Between the backdoor import of labor, offshoreing of manufacturing
and the politicians bending over for special interest groups...
who can afford to fear terrorist.

The influx of immigrants does make us a better country.
It's the process thats F.U.B.R. How about some accountability.

I would really stop and think about making some of these statements in a posting. While I understand resentment and passionate sentiments, I think it is always wise to be circumspect in postings.

I understand your concerns; note that here in Arizona the frustration is rising about the illegal immigrant problem and I hope that Congress does something--------soon.

If states do not have any immigration and customs power via the US Constitution; how then, can they impair in the obligation of contracts entered into by the private sector via their 9A power and right?

Quote:
Article 1 Section 10
No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.

In other words, it is ok to be an illegal and engage in illegalities, if might makes right.

So maybe we shut down the DEA and shift the federal resources to ICE, build the fence and unleash the feds on business that hire illegals.

jurisdiction problems solved
