Nestor Martinez-Ochoa, 40, was taken into custody Wednesday morning on charges of using false ID and criminal trespass onto a commercial nuclear generating station.

“This raises the question: how safe is Palo Verde really if an illegal alien can gain access to this nation’s largest nuclear power facility.”

MCSO: Illegal immigrant tried to use fake ID to gain access to power plant | azfamily.com Phoenix

As long as our borders remain porous, deportation will remain a joke. Hopefully, none of the returning deportees will succeed at accessing a nuclear plant or other restricted areas. They certainly can't pretend they're trying to get a job picking crops at a nuclear plant, can they?

No doubt, Maricopa County will be accused of racial profiling for daring to even question the validity of his fake ID. After all, they are here to seek a better life, and should not have to tolerate this unfair discrimination and harassment.

Wednesday’s arrest isn’t the first time that an illegal immigrant has been arrested for trying to gain access to the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant.
Deputies also arrested Cruz Loya Alvares in July of 2011 for trying to use a fake ID to get onto the plant grounds
What is up with them wanting to be on the property where there is a power plant?

Nice to see how the government secures and protects it's facilities. Too bad citizens can't get some of that security and protection.

I LIVE in Phoenix and Palo Verde is maybe 50 miles from me. That Ochoa dude needs to be tossed in prison in the US cause he'd try to jump the border again.

Same here. It's not likely he was looking for a job as a nuclear physicist.
