Again.. a total BS number. You can't exactly count illegals. You can't go around asking people if they're illegal or not, they will respond no.

Actually, we can. It is a Law in the U.S. that ALL citizens must produce valid identification at the request of law enforcement.

I know what ProLogic means though; if an individual is stopped by law enforcement, oftentimes the officer has no way to verify that the subject's ID is correct-------simply by the latter using another person's papers if the physical resemblance is there.

NOTE: my birth surname sounds Hispanic; and I am quite Viking in appearance so the police went by my looks and gave me the benefit of doubt of being an American------racial profiling at work.

Oh, yea. I didn't think that all the way through, lol. Actually there is a BIG problem with Dallas' new computer system. They are now doing a state-wide check on people's licenses that they run and it's taking 20-30 minutes as opposed to a few seconds.

"Racial profiling" is a very tricky thing; it's a fact that MOST of the illegal immigrants are hispanic, but, MOST hispanics in the U.S. are not nescessarily ILLEGAL.
