By law yes --- but as we all know by now, a whole lot of people don't really give a damn about laws.

Uninsured Drivers Increasing; Vary by State; Miss. Highest, Maine Lowest

The recently released study, Uninsured Motorists, 2006 Edition,
examines trends from 1999 to 2004 in the percentage of uninsured drivers by state. In 2004, the five states with the highest uninsured driver estimates were Mississippi (26 percent), Alabama (25 percent), California (25 percent), New Mexico (24 percent), and Arizona (22 percent).

You don't have something more current? New Mexico had just changed its laws for driver's licenses right before that data, and the uninsured rate went down. We aren't talking about uninsured drivers here, we are needing some reference that an Arizona-registered vehicle wouldn't be insured.

Default re:

i dont think this is fair to say. Some people are brought here while young then, later get deported back to their country where they have no family out. Its not fair to judge a book by its cover

Another report today that border agents are finding MORE dead "migrants" and having to do more rescue of "migrants" really indicates that illegal crossing into the USA is up.

Oh -- I'd better provide a source or I'll have IBBMuseum after me ---

Apprehensions of non-Mexican migrants up in Texas - El Paso Times

Border Patrol agents in South Texas have also seen an increase in the number of illegal immigrant deaths and rescues of migrants.

In 2011, the Rio Grande Valley sector had 66 deaths and 238 rescues. In 2012, there were 140 deaths and more than 300 rescues. In the first 2 1/2 months of the current fiscal year, there have been more than 40 deaths and more than 130 rescues.

And probably 0 deportations of these "rescues". Just take them to a free USA hospital and get them a nice meal and bedrest and they're good to go.
