Unfortunately for the rest of the country, Arizona is still considered a focus region for DHS. Areas such as Sasabe, Naco, and other Arizona border areas are still number one entry points for undocumented migrants to enter the united States illegally usaully by smuggling organizations which transport these illegal migrants to areas throughout the United States. Arizona has been successful in running out permanent illegal residents, but still has to deal with the immigrants travelling through thier state. the desert landscape is littered with trash, the organized smugglers based in Arizona, and the daily bodies with are found in the desert from dehydration, etc.
Good luck maybe if the rest of the country becomes unattrative to these illegal undocumented migrants and start enforcing our immigration laws these immigrants will stop coming to our country.
Referring to illegals as animals is truly degrading..
First,... it was a joke. Second,... I was referring to roaches. Third,...I have lived where I was in the midst of illegals from Mexico, El Salvadore and Guatamala. One woman told me straight out that she was living in that state because the welfare was good (she had a baby here) and that the cockroaches that I found in my apartment came from hers,.. her sister in law (who also had a baby here) had roaches and she got them in her apartment. So she sprayed for them without saying anything, Of course they just (the roaches) moved to the first and third floor. This woman moved in with just her baby and "husband", within two weeks her three "brother in laws" moved in. This was a two bedroom apartment. They threw their trash out the windows, ignoring the barrels that were supplied for this purpose. Soon there were rats in the yard. The Board of health came. They fined the owner and told her that they were having a problem throughout the city as the "recent influx of foriegn born people" either did not know or did not care about proper waste disposal. Frustration does a lot to kill friendly feelings.
Illegal immigrants cannot receive welfare. Its through the LEGAL kids of which they receive welfare. And even still, they do not make up the majority of people who get welfare. And dehumanizing a certain group of people is a joke to you? and referring to them as 'roaches'? MOD CUT

Although I understand Msina's sentiments I don't agree with her. This country was built by people coming here as they pleased. Today it is called "illegal". Back when the Irish and Germans (among many others) came it was called "give me your poor, your hungry." What the hell happened to the United States? No wonder everybody hates us.

Things change: we have enough problems here in the USA to not have to deal with additional illegal immigration.
Besides; Mexico's illegal immigrant laws are much stricter than ours-------an illegal from Guatamala, etc. gets busted SOB he is in deep doo-doo.

The law states that illegals are not allowed to receive benefits butthe facts are that manyillegals do in fact collect. I have family that live in NM and work two of them work for the state giving out said benefits. They do not, and are not allowed to, ask for any proof of citizenship. They have told me that they know for a fact that many illegals do collect social benefits and of course one must never forget the anchor babies they pop out and then the children get all benefits and guess who takes care of that money? The parents, who happen to be illegal of course. So, don't come off with the lie of illegals do notcollect free social benefits when some of us know the truth of the matter.

"Back then" we didn't HAVE social services, welfare, labor standards, etc. etc. It was come here, and good luck to ya.
Times HAVE changed. We can't provide our own citizens AND the poor of the world at the same time.
That is not necessarily true - for instance, if a STATE or COUNTY, or CITY have "welfare" programs, it is possible for the illegal immigrant to get those benifits.
As one (of many) examples of this, Prince Wm County, VA just voted to not allow those in the country illegally to get PWC welfare assistance -
Arizona within the last year also enacted prohibitions against illegals getting state welfare benifits AND certain state resident benifits (in-state tuition at the universities as one example)
