I swear that ever since the Employer Sanctions Act was signed into law; the one that is supposed to take effect early 2008, Latino immigrants seem to be getting thinner on the ground.
I live in the edge of a Latino immigrant enclave here in Scottsdale and it seems to me that more and apartments are emptying out.
Part of it is due to 'urban renewal' admittedly; as apartment leases run out, the affected units are being boarded up.
Stiil; the area is definitely showing signs of people clearing out.
NOTE: the adults have that 'look' of having lived harder lives than people born/raised here in the USA hence probably being illegal immigrants from SOB and possibly points further south.
Maybe I ought to consider moving to Scottsdale after all. SoCal is just ridiculous packed with illegals these days and the CA government loves it. Too packed to go back.
