House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) urged her colleagues to act on comprehensive immigration reform on the first day of the 113th Congress, where immigration is expected to take center stage.

"By and large, the United States is a nation of immigrants," Pelosi said. "Built, enriched and strengthened by men, women and children who share our patriotism and seek the American dream. The strength of our democracy will be advanced by bold action for comprehensive immigration reform."

"We must empower the voters," she added. "We must remove obstacles to participation in our democracy for all Americans."
Pelosi Calls For Immigration Reform As Congress Opens - ABC News

Yet another pandering politician who believes amnesty for illegal aliens is more important than the economy, our crumbling infrastructure, jobs, and other issues that impact the citizens of this country. I wonder if this means she'll start paying her illegal vineyard workers higher wages.

Illegal aliens share our patriotism? Do tell. I suppose that's why they wave the Mexican flag and chant, "Viva Mexico!" while protesting in our streets.

I didn't realize citizens were prevented from participating, or needed empowerment to vote. Oh, that's right, she's not talking about citizens.

Pelosi is another one who blurs the lines between immigrant and illegal immigrant. When were we ever made a better country via illegal immigrants or from rewarding them for breaking our immigration laws?

Obviously, nothing was learned from the last failed amnesty. I suppose they don't think we have enough illegal aliens and want to encourage millions more to come.

Strange how these traitors will keep raising the national debt to keep many millions of Americans on unemployment handouts and welfare handouts while at the same time encouraging millions of cheap labor foreigners to break the laws and work here illegally.
