Oh, for heaven's sake, it's a photo. Common sense should tell you it's not intended to represent EVERY illegal alien gang in this country, or their weapons. Do you actually think most gangs hold photo shoots displaying their illegal arsenal for the benefit of law enforcement and the public? But, if you're that concerned about the photo, why don't you contact the author and demand he credit the photographer?
Again, why should their nationality, tattoos, being "white," or displaying a Mexican icon be considered relevant? The salient point: we have hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals living here illegally, who are, according to the FBI, responsible for much of the violence in our country. They are heavily armed with military-style assault weapons, are trafficking drugs, stealing identities, committing rape, murder, extortion, as well as other crimes. Yet, you can't comment on this scourge. No, you are more concerned about a photographer receiving credit for a photo. Incredible!
As usual, Benicar has taken the random incredulous thoughts bouncing around my brain and has distilled them beautifully into two paragraphs.
...Again, why should their nationality, tattoos, being "white," or displaying a Mexican icon be considered relevant?...
Because all of that information reveals the background of the gang, and even whether they are of foreign origin...

John Partipilo is a journalist/photographer that has gained access to the gangs in his area, documenting their activities and police/community efforts to control them. Your quoted article from Aaron Klein chose to use one of John's photographs are a representation of "international" or illegal alien gangs. Listen from the start of the video at this link to hear the Sur-13 gang members talk themselves:

There isn't a hint of any Mexican accent to them speaking English, it sounds like they have grown up in Tennessee...
You are deliberately being obtuse. There are hundreds of thousands of illegal alien gang members in this country. Did you actually expect the author to cover each gang, all of their weapons, or post photos identifying each gang member by name? Get real!
FYI, illegal alien gangs are classified as "international" by the FBI. After all, they are not U.S. citizens. Now, do you have a comment on the issue of illegal alien gangs, or are you going to continue this nonsensical and totally irrelevant discussion?
