An illegal immigrant is in jail without bond after he allegedly hit a Conroe woman crossing a downtown street Saturday night and raced off without stopping.

The woman, 19-year-old Kinsey Burns, has been released from Conroe Regional Medical Center. According to officials, 34-year-old Fernando Saucedo, of Pasadena, never slowed down after he hit Burns and was then pursued and detained by a witness to the hit-and-run accident.
Conroe Police Sgt. Bob Berry said the incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. as Burns was legally crossing in the 300 block of West Phillips at North San Jacinto, near the site of the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival. Saucedo did not stop, Berry said, but after he was chased and detained by a civilian the responding officer reported Saucedo had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol.

At least this woman did not die. Everyday, illegals kill between 12-20 Americans. These are 12-20 more Americans who would be alive if we enforced our laws. Not to mention all the sexual assualts that take place by illegals. These are all crimes that should have never taken place if our government did their job.

We have enough crime commited by Americans. If we got rid of all the people who did not belong here, our law enforcement would have more resources to concentrate on crime commited by Americans and really clean this country up.

I would guess he will be set free perhaps with a small fine and released into the population,then he will disappear to continue injuring and perhaps killing one or more of our legal citzens. Who knows, it could even be one of the illegals among us who is taken down by him. That is what happened to Vivski and her family, and that illegal had been arrested before for other crimes. They will never deport them.

Why does it matter if he was illegal or not, a legal citizen could have hit the woman, and it wouldn't be mentioned on this forum? It doesn't make sense and doesn't sound too fair.

Because, Americans have enough crime to worry about from Americans. Why should we have to deal with crime committed by illegals too. These illegals should not be here. The first act they ever commit coming here is to BREAK THE LAW. Then they steal SSN's to work thus committing id theft. Any crime committed by an illegal is a preventable and avoidable crime.

Oh so true. Just because the guy was illegal is the only reason it was on the news.

You have to be kidding. I'm sure it was in the news in the area where it happened. It was local news.

It was brought up here because he was an illegal. (I won't call him an immigrant because I consider them legal) After prologic the big topin in the threads is mostly about illegals. I don't see threads complaining about Legal Immigration. When are you going to realize how serious this issue is? When one of them hurts you or your loved ones physically or financially? I pray thata never happens to you as it has to many of us here.

And if the ILLEGAL weren't there at all, this woman would not have been hit.

That's the point. As a previous poster said, we have enough of our own problems, deadbeats, poor, and criminals than to have to be victimized by another country's as well.

This is the immigration forum. Why would news that a legal citizen hit another legal citizen be posted here?
The driver is in the country inviolation of US immigration law. Had he not been here, he would not have hit the woman. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
