Yes, we could as long as it is the double-layered one voted by congress but not funded. We will never eliminate illegal immigration completely but a real fence/wall would certainly be a deterrant and help the Border Patrol a lot.

I'm def Ok with cutting off 95 percent of illegal aliens trying to cross into the US; now, like many European countries are doing in 2013, DEPORT those crooks for any reason once picked up by the cops and so on.
