No, it is done to take advantage of poor people, to get them into low paid jobs, and to undermine the ability of the indigenous population to demand higher wages.
Not even when it is higher numbers by a nationality than illegal immigration? This came up yesterday, an "invasion of socialists" does not discern whether a "socialist" is coming by legal or illegal immigration. If they are from the same country, how can one immigrant be part of an "invasion" from their country when the other is not?

The OP says it was originally in P&OC. You've brought up the notion of war with Mexico before, were you just limiting that to only the families of illegal immigrants in Mexico? Explain how war or "invasions" are just select personnel of an entire country.
