He is allowed to be here whether you like it or not. It's allowing him the time to BECOME legal, something that would be difficult for him to do if he was forced back to a country he's never seen since he was a child.

How would you like to be deported back to say Chile, if you were brought here by your parents at age 2? You know nothing about Chile, don't speak the language, don't even care about the politics of Chile, but you've contributed to American civilization by going to college and working, have friends and volunteer from time to time.
Right, these kids here illegally never learned the culture and language of their illegal parents in the home.

And police choose not to enforce jaywalking laws, or they let speeders off with a warning. Still jaywalking is a crime and so is speeding.

What part of that constitutes "criminal behavior" on his part?
It's rewarding his criminal parents for violating our immigration laws by allowing their also illegal kids to remain here.

Right, and you think they would. Evidence that they do?

Anecdotal, I know several adults, who are children of illegal immigrants who were brought here when they were just children. They know nothing about their parent's country, and many care not to. Their country as far as they are concerned is America. They speak English, they communicate in English. And barely use or know the language of their parent's home country.

And for the 2nd time, this question has been avoided:

if he is here illegally and crossed over the border without going through the proper paperwork to come here legally, then he is a criminal.

So crossing the border to live here is as insignificant as jaywalking to you ?

Well we have 11-20 million border jaywalkers living in this country.
Give them amnesty and the next set will start arriving immediately to take their place.

Have you gone over the speed limit? you're a criminal.
Have you ever jaywalked? then you're a criminal
Have you littered? then you're a criminal

I answered it but I guess you didn't like what I said about the 14 year old Mexican that was brought here by his parents and within 6 months adjusted quite well.

How would you like to see the standard of living in your country lowered because of other people who don't want to live in their own country?

The answer to your question that you claim has been avoided: It's not our problem. Do you suppose people enjoy being in prison? Breaking laws has consequences.

Speaking of avoiding questions: Please explain how Obama has the authority to implement the Dream Act as he did. Still waiting.

Here's another question:

Do you believe that we have the resources and infrastructure to accommodate anyone in the world who wants to immigrate to this country?
