Wrong again.
It is pointless to deport illegals while enticing them with talk of Amnesty and keeping them here.

For what, So they can set themselves up to bring even more of their illegal brethren here ?

BTW Obama is the only President I can think of that has Illegal alien family members here in the USA LEECHING off the tax payers so his hypocrisy knows no bounds.

That alone is one MAJOR conflict of interest there, now isn't it ?

And you think President Obama has a vested interest or had a hand in them remaining here?

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.

Does that include his own admission that the numbers aren't quite accurate?

"The statistics are actually a little deceptive," Obama said last month during a discussion with Hispanic journalists. There has been "a much greater emphasis on criminals than non-criminals." And "with stronger border enforcement, we've been apprehending folks at the borders and sending them back. That is counted as a deportation even though they may have only been held for a day or 48 hours."

The mere fact that even Obama states they are counting those in the ATEP program.

and this
Quote:
A Washington Post story from last December said administration "officials quietly directed immigration officers to bypass backlogged immigration courts and time-consuming deportation hearings whenever possible" in order to break the record for fiscal year 2010.
"Officials (also) told immigration officers to encourage eligible foreign nationals to accept a quick pass to their countries without a negative mark on their immigration record," the story concluded.
Morton told the Post everything had been done "on the merits" and with "no cooking of the books."

Your attempting to play "gotcha' with your claims and questions.....tsk, tsk.

here's a quick note....look on the Recent Border Crossers menu, it has increased by 24K in FY12 after having declined from FY09 (48.6K) - FY11 (45.9K). Could this mean more are attempting to cross and are getting caught?

And that isn't a "deportation"? Without border removals (shown as 17% in the graphs for FY 2012), it is still the largest sustained deportation level for the administration of a U.S. President. Why is there such an unwillingness to accept this reality?

It was never counted as a deportation in past admins.

Its only the largest on a month-to-month comparison against GW. Over GW's 8 years was 2M and that's not counting the ATEP removals vs Obamas 1.4M to date counting the ATEP removals.
Quote:
Pulling out the ATEP numbers dramatically changes the number of deportations under Obama. The numbers for 2012 are nearly 20 percent below those in 2009. The committee continued,
When ATEP removals are subtracted from ICE’s deportation numbers, the 2011 removal total would drop from approximately 397,000 to roughly 360,000 and the 2012 removal total would drop from about 334,000 to around 263,000 (annualized this is estimated to be a drop from about 400,000 to 315,000).
This means that ICE removals for this year will be about 14% below 2008 (369,000) and 19% below 2009 (389,000).
The internal documents also reveal a discrepancy between arrests and actual removals. Specifically, ICE has reported 221,656 arrests yet report 334,249 removals for 2012 so far — a discrepancy of nearly 112,000 removals. ATEP accounts for 72,030 removals within this discrepancy, but there are over 40,000 removals that remain unaccounted for.

Now you're just twisting my words. Where did I complain about felons being deported? What I said is that according to our laws all illegal immigrants should be deported but instead Obama put a halt on deporting any non-convicted felons which makes up the majority of illegal immigrants in our country.
